Hi Dave
Thanks for your response.
I used yast to set it up and it showed the correct card twice and two
monitors. Interestingly it was trying for me because the monitor
indicator changed from orange to green but then back to orange.
I went to the xfree log to see if I could get any useful info to report
back and it said that device[0] appeared twice or was duplicated. I
then went back to the config file and there was no 'BusID' line so I
added it manually and guess what - it works!!!
I have since found the BusID is under an advanced section of yast/sax2
and it seems it needs setting manually.
So many thanks - a good nights sleep and your request for more details
got me on the right route.
