Just my $.02....
I jumped from M10 to Suse because of the issues I had with mandrake. In my
instance it wouldn't detect hardware (usb printer and internal modem) and
had an awful time keeping my settings (video modes kept getting lost).
That said, I know Mandrake is an excellent distro and IIRC more set for the
experienced user who can tinker a bit. Suse just did what I needed so I
bought it instead.
