After upgrading to KDE 3.3, it takes about 40 seconds to start k3b, and
there are errors gernerated in the /var/log/messages file as it attempts
to run.

I am using Suse 9.1, and the newest k3b version, 11.14-0.

Here's the messges file:

It is some sort of problem mounting the CD. I have a DVD player, and a
DVD writer. They work fine. Even after k3b finally opens, both drives
are listed in the top left corner of the GUI. I'm certain this problem
started after upgrading to KDE 3.3. Both the cdwriter (/dev/cdrecorder,
/dev/hdd) and the cdrom (/dev/dvd, /dev/hdc) are properly in the fstab
file, and show as mounted in mtab. The node entries look fine in /dev, and
the /media/cdrecorder, and /media/dvd directories look fine, same
permissions etc.

Thanks

Harry
