Which program gives a portscan or hack alert in Suse 9.1?

While occasionally working in Windows XP I encounter
portscans regularly alerted by my firewall.

In Suse 9.1 I have the firewall active and I think most
ports closed. Is there however a program which
alerts instantly on portscan or hack actions from outside?

TIA

Frank
