Starten Sie Ihr SUSE LINUX System und melden sich als Benutzer an.
Laden Sie sich die aktuelle Version des Pakets " popt"
(ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/9.1/rpm/i586/popt.rpm)
herunter und legen es in dem Verzeichnis /tmp ab.
Öffnen Sie eine Konsole und geben dort den Befehl "su -" ein.
In der darauf erscheinenden Abfrage geben Sie das Passwort des Administrators ein.
Installieren Sie das aktuelle Paket mit dem folgenden Befehl:
rpm -Uhv /tmp/popt.rpm
Schließen Sie die Konsole indem Sie zweimal die Tastenkombination [STRG]+[D] drücken.
Nun sollte das YaST Control Center wieder in gewohnter Weise funktionieren.

Download the updated version of the "popt" package
(ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/9.1/rpm/i586/popt.rpm)
and store it into /tmp
Open a console and enter "su -".
In the upcoming query enter the admistrator password.
Install the packet using
rpm -Uhv /tmp/popt.rpm
Close the console by pressing [CTRL]+[D] twice.
YaST control center should work as usual now.
