Hmm, looking on my machine the monitor is recognised, but there aren't any
default drivers for the video chipset. If you run sax3 or YaST2 from the
command line and go to the video configuration, what does it say you have
for a video adapter?

If it isn't listed, then try the following link which are the official Intel
drivers for your video chipset:
