Burn it to CD, boot from the CD, mount a partition to backup to, and then
invoke Partimage to 'Ghost' it to your backup partition.

Can't help with the other question, because my German is not quite *that*
good!

Other alternatives generally involve partimage somewhere along the line.
It's just that the RIP linux distro includes it in one small, neat bootable
package.
