SuSE9.0 has serious problems with some UHCI USB controllers, particularly
with Via controllers.
Using uhci.o instead of usb-uhci.o may help a bit. But using a machine
without a Via chipset would be best.
And using the wlan-ng 0.2.1pre22 version, which is the latest, should also
help.
And be sure you have removed the existing modules before installing new
ones. The original modules are not all replaced when new ones are
installed, leading to module loading errors, kernel oops' and even panics.
Even if you upgrade upgraded modules, remove them first.
