|I am purchasing a new workstation for home use and decided to switch from
|windows to suse personal. I am thinking of a Celeron processor in order to
|save money. Will that affect my performance in anyway? All I will do on this
|machine is use openoffice, a browser, and a shell a bit. Thanks.
Often, having enough memory is more important than having a faster
processor. Try to get at least 256 MB, better still 512 MB. Any entry
level processor these days is fast enough.
