Why not just do it the old fashioned way from a .bin file? Unpack it
wherever you want, say /opt/jre1.5, then make a link from /usr/lib/java
and /usr/lib/java2 to it, then set CREATE_JAVALINK to no in
/etc/sysconfig/java.
