Hey Folks,
Running in to a complication with YaST. I have a laptop with onboard
LAN and wireless, eth0 and ath0. If I have either of these two
interfaces installed and configured with YaST, everything is great.
resolv.conf and the routing table seem to be updated happily.
However, if they are both configured, then I don't pick up a default
route or DNS servers from the in house DHCP server on the wire (yes, I
have "Update name servers and search list via DHCP" set).
Is there any way to get around this on a laptop? Since this laptop
will be switching networks from home to office to wireless
occasionally, can you work logic in to the system like:
If eth0 and ath0 are up
then
use the route and DNS info from eth0
else
use the route and DNS info from whichever is up
Am I missing something obvious here? Thanks in advance.
Woody
