That's one thing that separates us from the other guys, isn't it? I've got
servers running RH 7.0,7.1,7.3, etc. And there may even be one still running
5.2 in there somewhere. But if they do what they're supposed to do, I'm
leaving them alone.
I got 9.1 because it said it supported 64-bit and my company just bought me
a laptop with an Athlon 64 chip. I never could get the dvd's with the 64-bit
install to work, but I loaded the 32-bit version and it has worked flawlessly.
I've been a RedHat user for years and this has taken a little getting used to,
but it is well worth it.
About a month ago, I bought an eMachines m6811 Laptop. I'm looking forward to
9.2, because I hope it will support the video in this laptop and I hope
they've fixed whatever prevented me from installing the 64-bit version of 9.1.
Have you heard any opions either way on this?
Later,
Andy C.(never #)
