Foamy, Foamy, Foamy... Why do you tell him only part of the story?

You neglected to tell him to purchase a good Anti-virus software before he
hooks his new XP up to the web. And one mustn't forget the cost of a
*good* firewall. Then there's the cost of backup software. He wants
scanning software too, and good ones aren't free for XP. Then come comes
the cost of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Photoshop,
Printshop, a sound editor, or a video editor. All these programs add up,
Foamy. Maybe a year's wages at Walmart might be able to cover all the
costs...

Fortunately, FireFox can replace Internet Explorer, and OpenOffice can
replace Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Photoshop at no extra charge,
source included. But, why put high quality software on an extremely
vulnerable OS? Just get SUSE or FC2 or Mandrake and all those programs,
and many, many more, come along for free.

One thing for sure, Foamy, you aren't earning the money in your household,
or you'd be more careful with it.
