Hi NG
My girlfriend uses some Acer TM 2502 notebook with SuSE 9.1, newest kernel
(same prob with older kernels too, though). The problem now is that the
system tends to randomly freeze. Now i've read that this problem could be
because acpi doesn't like pcmcia
(http://lists.suse.com/archive/suse-laptop/2004-Jun/0036.html), so the
recommanded procedure is to add the pcmcia modules
to /etc/hotplug/blacklist. What troubles me now is that I just don't know
what modules these are and couldn't find any more specific details with the
help of friend google. So for the moment I just added the line "PCMCIA". So
if anybody knows what pcmcia modules hotplug loads, I'd greatly appreciate
any hint.
Thanks
Marius
