Hi,

I'm having a strange problem with konqueror under SuSE V9.2. There are a
number of machines still running SuSE V8.2. On these machines, some
filenames exist with accented characters.

There are diffenrences between pulling files and pushing files.

Pulling files with accented characters in the filename across with konqueror
fish, (invoking konqueror fish on a machine running SuSE V9.2, getting the
file from a SuSE 8.2 machine), results in a message that the file does not
exist.

Pushing files with konqueror fish, (invoking konqueror fish on a SuSE 8.2
machine, pushing the file to a V9.2 machine), the file is copied but
instead of the accented character in the filename, two un-printeable
characters are inserted.

What settings do I need to change and where?
