I have come to the possession of an old SGI VisWS 540 that is
currently running Winblows NT 4.0 Workstation. As you can imagine I
want Windows OFF of this machine. HELP ME PLEASE! I can find docs on
installing RH 6.0 on to this hardware with the old 2.2.x kernel, but
am finding nothing on installing a modern Linux like SuSe. Has anybody
done this succesfully, and would that same person / those same persons
be kind enough to share some ideas on how to make this happen?
