This is a first for me. I updated all the packages in Gnome with newer
ones. This caused a dependency problem with Evolution. Since I don't use
it, I decided to do without it. This resolved the problem (apparently
Evolution needs libsoup - and I didn't think I had time today to root
around for that. Next, a bunch of packages were installed - took quite
some time. Then I got a message from YaST that "The following packages
had errors:" With the following shopping list of packages:
gnomemm
gnome2-user-docs
libxklavier
atk
orbit2
libgtop
gconf2
librsvg
gconf-editor
gconf2-doc
gnome-vfs2
gnome-mag
libgnomecanvas-doc
libgnomecanvas-devel
libgtkhtml
libbonoboui
gnome-desktop
gnome-system-monitor
gnome-spell2
mergeant
gedit
bug-buddy
gucharmap-devel
gnome-session
nautilus-cd-burner
gnome-panel-doc
I have never had this problem with errors. The only check box was OK.
This is probably not OK in the broader sense. What do I do now? Not even
sure what to google for...
