If that is the Deluxe version then I have the same board and it is fine,
I have only used the sound once and could not get it into surround,
only the front 2 speakers worked, however I did not try to hard and
just dropped my SB5.1 in, I have since upgraded my kernel and might
give it another go this weekend.
The only thing I have not got yet is any sata drives ( more Christmas
presents :) so cannot comment on the performance, it is normally better
to stick with software raid using onboard controllers, on my old board
the performance was far superior and did not eat the CPU as much, plus
there is no prob with Linux.

Go for the G/Force and the TV card, ATI`s modules ( drivers )are not as
good as the Nvidias from all the comments I have seen, I use a FX5600
and a saa7134 based tv card works fine.

Should be fine I have an NEC one in mine and have seen no probs ( except
for the odd kernel update that messes up burning but that is easily
fixed )
