My problem stemmed from the fact that I have an ISP, comcast, but I also use
Netzero for all of my spammable e-mail...i.e. entry into forms on the web,
etc.

Eudora, Thunderbird, and others make it much more clear as to how to set up
the transports for sending and receiving through a 3rd party than Kmail
does. KDE should take a lesson in usability and setup from Eudora and
Thunderbird...

So...it works, sort of...I have to resend a message many times before it
will send. If I let it send when it checks for e-mail on the Netzero
server, it seems to work all of the time...

Thunderbird just works all the time...
