"Suse is a good, all-around distro - it CAN be tweaked to
get good performance."
Quote's been lifted from roshi tobler (apologies) but my curiosity has
the better of me. How does one set about tweaking SuSE? Specifically 9.2.
At the moment all I've done is recompile the kernel and the modules to
give better performance on my cpu (a socket 478 p4) rather than rely on
a generic compilation. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't.
What other hot tips do people have?
:)
