PPPoE?
If you're ISP uses DHCP then it's not likely using PPPoE. If it is really
using DHCP then configure you're card to use DHCP. That's it. From Yast
configure the ethernet card for automatic address setup. I think you're
going down the wrong road with PPPoE. You've got what should be the second
easiest setup possible.
Now if you're ISPs is really using PPPoE then I'd try raising the error
message level and watching the output.
I'd also just hookup directly to the modem. Take the hub out of the picture
for now. If things work without it you can then move on.
