Powersave/spindown SCSI ?

My box runs 24/7 but the average number of times it is accessed is
probably less than once every hour (at least, by external access)

I have no IDE drives, just 2 U2W-SCSI disks, one 10krpm, one 7k2rpm.

Does hdparm allow me to set a powersaving mode for SCSI devices like for
IDE ?
I have seen the -B option combined with a number 1-255 is required. No
idea what the meaning of each valid value is btw.

Is it advisable to do so ? I know it seems idiotic with SCSI, but now I
have a constant 80 Watt power consumption and a lot of high pitched noise :)

Advice and tips on howto welcome.
Schraalhans
