I have a SanDisk Cruzer Mini USB drive (FAT32) that my Linux system
won't write long file names to. It just truncates them after 8
characters (then dot extension). I use it to transfer files to and from
work, and my Win2000 workstation has no issues with writing long
filenames to it. SuSE has no problems reading long file names on it or
copying them off of it, just writing them to it. It's rather
aggratvating when copying several similarly named files, as it only
prompts me to overwrite, not to rename.
