Hallo,
when i want to boot the upper described system from the harddrive
(Hanging on a RAID1 Controller Mirrored) there is a Kernel Panic
(cannot mount root device 8:02).
If i boot the system with a Suse Linux 8.2 Boot CD , i input 2
Bootoptions in LILO Bootmanager (hde=noprobe hdg=noprobe) and i insert
and aktivate the Driverdisk from Silicon Images it is possible to boot
the system. Does someone know how i have to configure Linux that it is
booting by itself without a Kernel Panic?
thanks in advance!
Curato
