I am running a small network using Samba on a SuSE 9.1 server with Win2k
clients. Everything seems to work with one small glitch - when I log on
a workstation and open Windows Explorer it shows that some of the shares
were not reconnected. However, if I click on the share I get the file
listing from it. So, even though it shows as "disconnected", I do in
fact have the correct access to the share, and can access it without
issue...for the most part. Also, there are 4 different shares, and they
don't all show as disconnected.
The problem is that there is one application (only Photoshop CS, so far)
that is having a problem with the "disconnected" shares.
I can disconnect and reconnect and the share will then show as
connected, but when I reboot the workstation it comes back as
"disconnected".
Very weird (IM<newbie>HO, anyway). Any thoughts appreciated.
