Congratulations! --- Just a short note: often it is more time
saving and directly controlled (hard disk) to " zero out the hard disk
with the DISKEDIT program from Symantec (or something similar).
This is the most reliable, safe means of zeroing I know of. All
manufacturers of hard disks also *keep* a small bit of space for
ID, diagnostics, formatting, etc. Norton's (symantec) diskedit program
will handily and safely erase all of these to pure zeros!!
