lvm lvdisplay -v vg01/home does not display physical extents

I've been using LVM for a while now (mostly on HPUX PARISC
platform) so I welcomed this tool in Linux. LVM version 1 supported a
display of physical extents (PE) if lvdisplay -v group/lvmgroup was passed.

After I switched to SuSE 9.2 and lvm2, lvdisplay -v group/lmvgroup no
longer yields expected results. Instead of be verbose (as it is
supposed to be and was in other version), it behaves as if lvdisplay was
used without any parameters (no pe displayed).

lvdisplay -vv group/lvgroup displays more but not what I want. Have I
missed something in the release notes for lvm2? Has this verbose
options to display allocation to physical extents for a logical volume
been dropped? If so, it would be very disappointing....

Thanks.
