I have apparently managed to get multiple versions of some packages
(java2-jre and kdelibs3) installed and can't seem to get rid of one by
using kpackage or rpm. What I have installed are
kdelibs3 version 3.2.1-44.28
kdelibs3 version 3.2.1-44.39
java2-jre version 1.4.2-129
java2-jre version 1.4.2-129.10
If I try to unstall java2-jre 1.4.2-129 by pointing to it in kpackage and
uninstalling, I get an error message (result=1) that tells me correctly
that java2-jre specifies multiple packages. Studying rpm commands doesn't
show me any obvious way to specify the version.
Anyone been through this?
Thanks.
