Why on earth would you want to do that? Network connections are much faster
and easier to set up, using ethernet. Believe me, you don't want to run a
remote desktop over a serial link. Even running a large app, such as
Mozilla, takes a long time to get started, when I'm connected to my home
network, from a friend's. I've got a cable modem at my end, and my friend
has ADSL. With that, my download speed, is about 800K, which is faster
than what you'd get from a serial port.
