Yes the same thing happend to me, I installed 3D via YOU and it worked
for a few days but now all I get is the black screen of death. I did
learn the trick of CTL-ALT-F1 to open a new monitor from my search on
the topic at nVidia's web site.

I researching the problem and have done the INIT 3, SAX, Enable 3D but
everytime I enable 3D, I lose video signal. It seems to be happening to
a lot of folks.
