My real name is James Robert Legault, and I'm french by nature, english
by choice. I didn't intend to start a war or anything, I just wanted to
know what would drive someone back to windows. I've lost so much sleep
fixing these problems, but in the end, TV-Out dosn't work so my setup
it not worth the effort. I tried every version of atitvout, plus I
tried the Ati.2 drivers. No luck. As for distro's, I've used RadHat 5,
Mandrake 9.1, and Suse 8.2 and 9.2 pro. All of these on my Inspiron
4000 laptop. Never wanted a dual boot os, my laptop was for playing
around so I dind't need it functional all the time. I got alot of great
support from these forums, but in the end if it dosn't work, it dosn't
work. I'll try it again in a year from now, see how thoings have
changed. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.
