Well to tell you the truth it just kind of started working when I
started Kopete. After you have entered the password info for the app it
just sits there on the taskbar. I would guess that if you had (say) 10
apps needing passwords you would only need to enter a password once for
the wallet during each login session. Kind of a central point of
authenticaton.

You can choose not to use it BTW.
