Yeah, I know. However, it is nicer to just have your machine setup from
get-go with the nVidia drivers installed.

Yeah, I'm aware of that, and if you install Apt, you can really stay
up-to-date with all of your software. 3rd party SuSE Apt repositories are
usually, but not always, quick to release upgrades/updates.

Yeah, that's why I don't bother. I'm currently running SuSE 9.2 Professional
and I haven't updated much that wasn't from YOU updates. Upgrading for the
sake of upgrading is just plain dangerous.
