No, you are the one who provided a simpleton's explanation as an excuse for
Suse's slow booting. Wtih all servers disabled, it still boots slowly. Time
it, try it.
Is it a huge deal? No. But do not make it sound like the OP or others
haven't done their research and things would be just fine if he knew what
he was doing.
Why is it a big deal to boot an OS in 45 seconds instead of 2 and half
minutes. Because impressions matter for a desktop OS.
Bringing in your server stuff is pointless as the OP clearly wasn't running
any server. Servers are not meant to be shut down and are rarely ever
rebooted so you really don't care at all in that space.
Why can't you just say, the information I provided wasn't accurate and move
along. Instead, you have to resort to name calling. Truly pathetic.
