Thus far I have about five minutes experience with Suse. I booted to the cd,
and everything seemed to be ok. I can browse to other computers on my
Windows network and access shared drives without problems. However, I cannot
access the network drive on my Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition. When
I double click on the drive, I get the login box asking for my user id and
password, same as if I browse from a Windows XP machine. However, when I
enter my information, I get the message: "The process for the smb://server
protocol died unexpectedly". (The shared drives on other computers on the
network do not required a user id and pw.) What do I need to do to
successfully log in?
