No disagreement there, but to clarify, I didn't say security isn't an
issue for me, but rather that the undoubted *increased* security of
Linux -- over and above the padlocks and security procedures I have at
the moment -- isn't a huge consideration which would swing the balance.

Very true, but that just means that for the time being it's even-
stevens: until I'm forced to switch away from 98, there's (so far) no
compelling reason to do so.

That'll certainly change -- the minute it becomes necessary to ditch 98
(which is going to happen sooner rather than later, methinks), it'll
swing the balance in favour of Linux. (That's why I'm preparing myself
now, rather than being forced to switch under pressure.)

Undoubtedly I will -- -eventually!

(My current task is to try and crack WINE; there are one or two
applications that I really would like to retain if I possibly can.)
