DELL PowerEdge+RAID

SUSE 9.2 professional on DELL 2650 and PERC RAID5 built-in controller:
Runs fine for a few days/weeks and then just f$#%s up any disk IO, so
if you tried typed "ls" on the console it would say "input/output error".
The system is otherwise running fine - accepts connections( the session
failes of course since the fs is not accessible ) etc.. The culprit is
clearly
the raid driver ( accraid 1.1.2-1k2 ). Somebody knows how to deal
with this ?
