I've gotten the Hauppage WINTV Go working in SUSE.

Here's how:

OK I put the card in the machine and the SUSE Hotplugger Hardware tool
popped open on 1st boot.

From there it opened YAST for me to install the card.

I su'd into Yast and went to Hardware / TV Tuner Card.

Then I clicked on TV Card and got here: (Remember this is after multiple
tries at install. If you hadn't installed it already, you would see it
detected in the top part of the YAST screen.)

I clicked on *CHANGE* under:
Installed TV and Radio Cards:
Hauppauge WinTV
Installed as TV card number 0.

Now remember I had tried to install the card previously many times, so I
probably went into YAST a dozen or so times.

 From Here I clicked *EDIT*

http://groups.msn.com/MCTripPics/linux.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=638

This is the TV TUNER page. Note I used the *Select Tuner* button and
used the Philips 4 in 1 Tuner (ATI/Conexant.) Tuner # 44.

Next I clicked the *TV Channels* Button. I decided not to use YAST to
setup my TV channels. It writes to: /etc/X11/xawtvrc

Next you choose NTSC or PAL (NTSC here in the US) I used broadcast and
cable. Both seem to find channels pretty well. Remember I set up my
channels in KDETV.

Now we setup the sound for the TV Card.

This went flawlessly no issues whatsoever.

(Detection)
Volume Test:

Then I kept hitting OK, then eventually finish. YAST wrote the files.

Here are pics from the SUSE Hardware Tool.

Here is the info on KDE TV I grabbed it out of YAST - I installed all
multimedia stuff upon original install. You may have to install
multimedia modules from disk.

Applications that work with it: KDETV, MoTV, XawTV - of these KDETV is
the best of the applications. MoTV comes in a close second.

When you 1st get into KDETV you will see the Channel Wizard. I used
that to write the /etc/X11/xawtvrc file.

Remember I went through this setup procedure many times. I have only
gotten it to work correctly twice. It is working fine right now.
I use the mouse wheel or the Up & Down arrows to change channels and the
L + R Arrow keys to change volume.
