Hi. I just installed kde 3.4 from the server and everything went o.k.
except after the rpm's were installed I got this warning message:

   /opt/kde3/bin/kdeeject....something about usage...dev.....

So I rebooted as the message kept popping up and this was tying up my
resources. Since I had already installed the 3.3.92 beta I was having to
boot in at runlevel 3. The normal login screen wouldn't accept any
keyboard input. I got used to it so I was looking forward to NOT having to
log in this way. I logged in at runlevel 3 to be safe and rebuilt the rpm
database (rpm --rebuilddb) and ran SuSEconfig to be on the safe side. Then
I rebooted and logged in normally. Now my keyboard input works at the gui
loggin screen ! But, when I got to my desktop that warning
about /opt/kde3/bin/kdeeject popped up again so I quickly uninstalled
kdeeject and the problem went away...........

Since I was in a hurry I just did an rm to remove the file instead of cp to
somewhere that I could have seen what was wrong with the script. Hope
someone can figure that out ??

Anyway, now I'll look around and see what improvements they've made other
than the greatly appreciated loggin fix.

P.S. mjt...Yes, that's why they call it BETA :~)

Are we having fun yet ???? YES !!!!
