Hey all...

I am being given a brand new Dell 1600N, since it is brand new I will
assume it has the new firmware to allow network scanning. I have been
searching for information on running it with Linux. I plan on plugging
it into my home network that has a desktop and a laptop (wireless). All
I have found is three mentions. One from Linuxathome.com, but used the
old firmware and one comment on linuxprinting.org that said he got it
work using raw. The third reference, which I can't find again says that
it is a rebadged samsung SCX-4720F and the linux drivers might work...

Does anyone have any direct experience with this MF printer???

Since I am getting given to me I want to make whatever I can work..

Thanks
