OK I did that and here is my response:
pin 0.30 - package info for Perl-Gtk-Perl

------------------------------------------------------------------
*** no rpm named Perl-Gtk-Perl installed
------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------------
*** zgrep Perl-Gtk-Perl /var/lib/pin/ARCHIVES.gz
------------------------------------------------------------------

The I took the next step you suggested and got this

It was on a blue screen which turned green

Then I went to yast and searched for GTK, if fact last night I installed
everything I could find with GTK in it. It all installed fine.
There is a GTK module in Yast it has a lock on it. The rest of the GTK
stuff is just checked. There is no Perl GTK on CD 1. I downloaded the
DVD. Got the link from you website. Very nice site.
There is no Perl GTK on the DVD either.
Next I went looking for the GTK 7009. I had previously found that as
a tar file and installed it. It did not work.
Now much to my surprise I found a site called RPM Seek. I have seen it
before. This time I used Konqueror. I have been using Firefox all
along and downloading everything to my home directory. Mostly I move
what I download to usr/local and install from there if it is a tar.
I was shocked when I clicked the gtk 7009 and Yast popped up and the
GTK loaded. Then I went to my home directory and clicked the RPM for
DVD Rip (remember DVD Rip) that is what I wanted to do from the beginning
and it loaded.
I am confused about why the RPM went directly to Yast when I used
Konqueror, does that always happen? I could have saved myself a lot
of trouble had I handled it that way initially. I dont know if
DVD Rip works or if I can even find it to launch it. At this point
it almost doesnt matter anymore, at least I got it loaded.
Thank you very much for all of your help. I mentioned I like your site.
That is were I got the link to download the DVD.
