    Cairo was the win95 shell.
    Windows 2000 was called Memphis I think (if I remember correctly.)
    XP was Whistler.

    I remember the day we shipped W2K, that may have been the best party
    ever at MS. They even had go-carts setup for us to race in the
    underground parking lots. I must've drank 1/2 a bottle of tequila that day.

    The XP release party was outside on the soccer fields. A bunch of
    skydiving employees jumped and landed, there were some bands, etc. Bill
    and Steve gave a speech. My friend Stephan from Germany (on my team)
    gave blood that morning and by about 1pm was passed out. Note to self:
      Never give blood, then drink yards of beer!
