But thats not UTs FPS

I can't afford the ultimate machine. I have to make do with a AMD 1600 + XP,
512 Ram and a CL Geforce 4 with 64 meg.
I can't comment on the Full UT4s release as I've only ran UT4 in 9.1 but I
did try the demo in both 2k and 9.1 can't remember what the difference was
in FPS but on 9.1 the grass moved when walking through it which it never did
in the windows demo so I chose to install it in 9.1 easy to install with the
Loki installer all ready on the disk.
I can comment on Doom 3 installed on 2k and natively in 9.1 looks the same
and 9.1 runs about 1 - 2 FPS slower @ 22 FPS.
The problem with most developers for games is that the use the windows API
instead of OpenGL as in UT and Doom 3.
I just installed a Radeon 9500 with 128 meg, in the sons PC running XP, in
HL2 and Counter Strike he's got Direct X 9 hardware support now. To me
these graphic have just caught up with the beautiful graphics of the
original Unreal running a the glide drivers on a Voodoo 3 16meg cards
Ram.
