This is one of my pet peeves.* There's more than one place to make the
setting.

I use KDE, so I make sure that (a) my paper is set to Letter (default is
A4), (b) my margains are set to .5 inches in FF, and (c) my margains are
also set in the KDE control center.

*In my mind the OS should provide a print API that all apps should talk to.
This appears to be an issue in both Suse and NT/2K/XP.
