Your hardware is either faulty or not properly installed. Dell, by default,
sets its HDs for cable select and I have seen Linux not like that too much.
Other than that, and unless you are trolling, it is hard to say what in
god's name is going on. I can tell you that Suse takes about an hour to
install on similar hardware to yours.
