Thanks for your comments and advice which, as I recall, is the first
mature response to my earlier posting. I hardly ever react the way I did
yesterday and today, but the close resemblance with many newsgroups I have
visited was and still is that certain regular posters regard every
new-comer as a thread to the group. Well nobody owns a group and to jump
on every new-comer who does not share the general (positive) view of the
rest of the group I find a bit pathetic. It isn't possible to have a
normal dialog with them where there's room for each other's view and
opinion and maybe learn from each other. Having a lot of knowledge about a
certain topic does not mean one can bully everyone who does not share the
same points of view.

Of course it is childish to react the way I did, but I did it as holding a
mirror to those who act likewise.

I will follow this newsgroup, but will not post, even if I can contribute
because sadly it is not possible to be yourself here.
