The wireless NIC card. My laptop has an onboard wireless card, and I
have a couple of PCMCIA 802 cards, but none of them worked in 9.2.
I did find a problem with 9.3, after updating the NVIDIA driver from
the YOU update, everything went to pot. It says kernel tainted when it
loads, and now Gnome and KDE won't run. It boots into one of the other
desktops.
I may have to reload the thing, I have spent a couple hours trying to
get it to reset itself back to something that will load up kde or
gnome...and it is going ot take less time to reload the thing then
figure out what went wrong. (I did a new install, so there is not much
there... just the update.
