You should be able to change this in Yast>System>/etc/Sysconfig Editor
then navigate to System>boot>THEME the themes are in/etc/bootsplash/
there are different themes there, if you have your own themes then just
add them here.
You could just rename the default "SuSE" dir to something else and then
copy one of the others to a new "SuSE" if you want????
