I don't understand your question... Open Office opens as a window on the
current screen, so it won't use a different resolution. Do you mean it
always opens its window as a 640x480 windows on the screen, or, when you
maximise it, it just uses the upper left corner with a maximum size of
640x480 with the rest of the desktop showing right and bottom?
