Assuming you did actually create the floppy correctly you probably need to
(temporarily) alter your BIOS settings so that the first boot device is
your floppy! If you know how to do this already go ahead and do so now.
If not the generic instructions are normally something to this effect:

1. Start your computer.
2. When the first screen comes up you will see a message that says something
like 'Press Delete to change settings'. This is usually quite fast so you
need to have your finger on the delete key "BEFORE" you turn on the
computer!!!

3. Next you will see your BIOS menu appear. Depending on the brand/version
of BIOS you have you need to go to the settings which affect your boot
device(s). This is often the second menu down but varies. The first is
usually the one for scanning hard drives/devices. Don't touch that one!

4. When you find the correct menu use your arrow keys to highlight the line
which says something like 'First Boot Device'. Now using the arrow keys/
or page up/page down keys (depending on your BIOS) change the settings to
Floppy.

5. Exit this menu. This should bring you back to the first BIOS menu. Now
select the 'Save Changes and Exit' selection and confirm that what you
wanted.

6. This should reboot your box and the BIOS changes should cause your box to
seek the Floppy as the boot device !!

If that works AND IF you correctly made a BOOTABLE floppy with Windows
system files on it you will, after a few moments while the floppy detects
your hardware, be at a C: prompt. If so change to an A: prompt by typing
A: This will put you on the floppy drive where you simply type FDISK /
MBR. Now you'll be asked to confirm that you really want to do this. Say
yES. That will remove your old Master Boot Record.

7. Now reboot and enter the BIOS as above and change your First Boot Device
back to where it was, save change and reboot to your CD.

Your exact instructions may vary as I stated, as all BIOS menus are not
identical. However, this should get you there. Usually, your BIOS menu
will have the directions on how to chane your settings at the bottom of the
menu ! Follow its' directions as they will be correct for your BIOS !!

Good luck and sorry to hear you didn't like SuSE 9.2 :~) Perhaps you might
tell us why ?? Good luck anyway....
